Best Buy already listed the new Far Cry title with a very interesting information enclosed. The resolution for the Xbox One X is stated as 1800p, while there is no information on the PS4 Pro, which seems to be not able to play the game at this resolution. There will probably be a lower resolution but 4K support playable on the Ps4 Pro.
Both consoles have in common though that an improved frame rate is offered. Players will be able to choose between higher resolution or improved performance.
The features of the deluxe edition are stated as followed on Best Buy:
Deluxe Edition includes immediate access to additional weapons, explosives, vehicles, and skins
Fan the flames of resistance and fight to free Hope County from the grip of a deadly cult
Beware the wrath of Joseph Seed and his cult followers as you support the resistance in small-town America
Explore Hope County and discover the Montana countryside, its wildlife, and its inhabitants in an exciting open world
Xbox One X-enhanced to support 1800p resolution and improved frame rate

The official launch date for Far Cry 5 on Ps4, Xbox One and PC is March 27th. The game will be set in the United States where you lead the rebellion against a fanatic cult.
While those are definitely some good news, Ubisoft also announced Microtransactions this week, which made a lot of costumers not so happy. Imagine you already bought the game as a preorder and then afterwards hear about microtransactions.
But it’s not as bad as it seems and like other companies (looking at you EA) made it before. The Executive producer Dan Hay said “We’ve set the game up so…nothing is locked. You can go out and explore, and the game will reward you for your exploration.” The microtransactions are only for those that don’t have the time and like to unlock parts of the story buy paying money.
Ubisoft actually did the same with their last game Assassin’s Creed Origins, where you can buy so-called “Time Saver Packs”, including items or in-game-currence that can also be earned by playing. There will definitely be no lootboxes or other shady stuff.
Considering the multiplayer of the game, all microtransactions are promised to be only cosmetic and will not influence the gameplay.
The last, very good news is that the singleplayer-campaign will be fully available offline, only for co-op or multiplayer components you obviously need an internet connection.
Oh, and by the way, there will be a season pass taking players to the Mars and the Vietnam War!
